I absolutely loooove a good cheeseburger. This time I tried to mix it up a little bit by using a mix of spicy italian sausage and ground beef to form the patties. Cook to your desired doneness by whatever method you choose (although I would err on the side of caution and well done due to the pork in the patty) and top with a slice of pepper-jack cheese. A good tip for melting the cheese is to cover the burger with a lid along with a little water to create some steam. Top it with whatever condiments you so desire, grab a beer (or other beverage) and then it’s time to go to town.
